Reggie

Regene "Reggie" Radniecki is one of those teachers that really pushes you to be your best. Her photojournalism work throughout her career is incredible. She taught some truly great photojournalism and is a good teacher and person as well. I am so glad I had the chance to be taught by her. This semester is her last semester at MSUM, and her knowledge and I am sure her expertise will be missed.

This was a relaxing way to end the day.

Why I Love Photojournalism

This is one of those photos that gives me the feeling that everything I have to go through as a photojournalist is worth it. This was the fourth basketball game of the weekend that I shot for my college newspaper. It turned out to be a very great game. It went into overtime and the MSUM Dragons ended up winning the game. Because of this win it put us into the number one spot in the NSIC North. I had pictured a photo like this in my head and anticipated it right after the win. I ran over to the bench and out of no where the exact photo I had in my head happened. The pure joy and happiness in this picture was priceless.

Morgan Zabel MSUM Dragons Basketball

I had about 20 minutes with Morgan to make some basketball photographs. It's always fun to shoot people with a lot of talent, and Morgan is one of those people. The light painting photo was inspired by Wyn Wiley Photography, a great photographer who I follow. I wish I had the chance to photograph more of the team and make cool pictures with them!
