My life these past few months has been pretty crazy. Life moves so fast if you don't take time to let it slow down. The other day I found a new spot to unplug and do some soul searching. This is my new spot that over looks the Missouri River. So many different things are happening in my life right now and I am not exactly sure when it will slow down again. I do know I truly appreciate every single one of you who have supported me or my photography in any way. You guys mean a lot to me. You are so much more than follows, comments, or likes. Let's become new friends, continue to be friends, or talk about the good times we have had. Just understand that I genuinely care about you. (iphone 5s photo)

Reggie

Regene "Reggie" Radniecki is one of those teachers that really pushes you to be your best. Her photojournalism work throughout her career is incredible. She taught some truly great photojournalism and is a good teacher and person as well. I am so glad I had the chance to be taught by her. This semester is her last semester at MSUM, and her knowledge and I am sure her expertise will be missed.

Why I Love Photojournalism

This is one of those photos that gives me the feeling that everything I have to go through as a photojournalist is worth it. This was the fourth basketball game of the weekend that I shot for my college newspaper. It turned out to be a very great game. It went into overtime and the MSUM Dragons ended up winning the game. Because of this win it put us into the number one spot in the NSIC North. I had pictured a photo like this in my head and anticipated it right after the win. I ran over to the bench and out of no where the exact photo I had in my head happened. The pure joy and happiness in this picture was priceless.
